- Wow, training on how to get making coffee and a variety of.... right. What next?
We need more of these courses!!!
There aren't enough baristas to go around!
Sorry, these posts were meant to go in your "coffee poems" forum, but my tangler got tangled!
Hello. I like a coffee. Usually an espresso or ristretto. At home I have a nice machine with a gauge on it that tells me when things are correct. I have found that 30 is the magic number. ie. I grind with a Braun grinder for thirty seconds, use 30 grams of grounds and run 30 mls of water through the head for 30 seconds. The only thing that thirty is not is the weight applied when compressing the grounds.
Soon there will be a huge shortage of surgeons, architects, writers and scientists as the creme de la creme forgo those paltry educational forays and set themselves the true intellectual challenge of taking years to learn how to run a coffee machine. We'll probably lose the best and brightest from our pilot training academies too as those who think they are up to it seek to use their talents and education to truly impress. This could change the world. Happiluy I am sure that only few will prove to have the courage, determination and natural brilliance to survive the rigours of ....BARISTA TAFE!!!![]()
