My little boy wants an account!

    2006-10-16 17:58:03.0

    he's 6!

    2006-10-16 17:58:10.0

    I'm not letting him...

    2006-10-16 17:58:21.0

Why not? It won't stunt his development ... much.  At least if the time comes when the world needs a good paladin he'll be our man :)

    eeeek!

    2006-10-17 14:40:26.0

My 5 year old crept up behind me when I thought he was playing outside. He got a glimpse of me casting before I logged out, and since then he asks me every second day if I can show him "the game with the fighting" again. In a way, I'd love to show him - he'd think it was cool - and there's no way he's old enough to have the keyboard skills to play! But the thought of him roleplaying WoW at preschool while everybody else is playing firemen and racing car drivers fills me with horror. Can you imagine one preschooler running up to another in the playground and saying, "You be a Tauren Hunter and I'll be a Night Elf Rogue"? OMG, that's awful!

At least on WoW I can keep it on my Mac in the study. I don't know how dads with young kids manage to play Halo on the xbox without their kids getting involved.

For all you wow addicts, check out purepwnage

Episode 6 and 7 are seriously wow.

And my 7 year old caught me playing one night and he was like "oooh WTF is that dad!"

Pestered me for ages so I showed him my uber-total-megashapeshifting-n00b-pwning Druid.

Now he bothers me all the time!

Never gonna let him play -- though my "it's broken" excuse isn't gonna work for long.

Hmmm, maybe I could get him doing some grinding for me.

    2006-11-01 16:18:06.0

yeah, you'll get to 60 in no time

    2006-11-01 16:20:50.0

    2006-11-01 16:40:23.0

i my opinion definitely yes. thats why i just stopped to play this game.

the problem with this game ist, it has no end.

I haven't let myself play yet!

I know my personality, and I know I will lose my spare time. It's so hard though, I've been warcrafting since I had a 386 and played #1 - Oh the torture

    2007-03-25 02:42:30.0

give in to yourself ... i personally am getting bored of it and find myself playing less and less now

    2007-03-25 17:43:05.0

Yes, it's addictive. It has no end. I stopped playing a year ago, and often I catch myself wanting (badly) to play again.

    2007-05-15 18:14:42.0

you should come back!! especially for TBC

    2007-05-16 18:07:47.0

I'll probably be be back for at least a month this summer.

    2007-05-28 17:26:20.0

I personally would rather play a free MMORG

    2007-10-21 01:21:34.0

Too addictive? For addictive personalities, everything is too addictive. My friends and I have a rule of thumb for this type of thing. If you miss work (or school), in any amount (late/call in sick/etc), because you were playing a game - you should consider yourself addicted and react accordingly. This includes oversleeping because you played to much the night before. My Warcraft account was inactive (unpaid) for three months and dormant for 5-6 months before that. I only recently started playing again. I get to play maybe 10-12 hours per week, which is almost too much for me.
