I am using 2.7 in certain blogs. One of them was not able to put in the "Visit Site Url".  When I clicked update or entered the link, the link did not save.  Do you know why such would be the case?

Make sure you have entered the url properly in edit post page and have put this code in template  <?php visit_site_link('Visit This Brand Website'); ?>

I tested this again in 2.7 and it is saving my changes to the URL

This is happening to me in WP 2.7.1. I do have the visit_site_link code pasted, though as part of a conditional tag. It shows at first after I save, but if I close out the browser, flush cache, and visit again the link defaults back to my root domain only. Are there any known conflicts with link cloak or affiliate plugins by any chance?

I have not tested it with any other affiliate plugins.

Thanks Dan for the reply. Turns out it seems to have been a major case of "user error" on this one. I think in my zeal to edit some of the entries, I wasn't allowing WP to properly save some of the posts before I moved on to the next one, and hence, the URL wasn't getting saved. Works wonderfully if I actually let WP do its job! Great plugin, btw, and the extensive documentation for integrating to other themes is fantastic.
