Dan, I am using the template that has plugins already installed on SeattleTanningSalons.com and I have removed all the check marks in the auto embed settings but the listings now have no stars and I created 4 categories for ratings.  Not sure what I am doing wrong.....

By the way, stars weren't working for me, and only a total re-install of Wordpress and then of WPReview made them show up... even the guys at my hosting company couldn't figure out why one of the stars files kept getting corrupted in the file-transfer process.

Hmmm, if i reinsall the plugin will I lose everything?  If I have reinstall WP I will be pissed because I inputted all those listings of tanning salons by hand already:(

So Firefox 3.05 is working for you and not for me is very strange.

I got it to work.  I reinstalled firefox and that did the trip.  Looks like for support we need to help each other.

That's not true at all. Just because I'm self-employed doesn't mean I can't have weekends off too. Isn't setting your own schedule why you are trying to make money with your websites as well?  :)

I think support sites are good when the author is very present to help (especially for a paid plugin) and when we help each other too... No sense reinventing the wheel, if we can learn from each other's trials and tribulations!
