I configured the comparson table to only display on category pages, the only  problem is when you view category pages the comparison table also shows under "Recent Posts" in the sidebar.

Is there a fix for this Dan?

The fix it to not use the checkbox to add the comparison table to your site but instead to put the code in your theme (refer to the documentation for copy/paste example code). Unfortunately the plugin cannot tell one list of posts (the main column) from another list of posts (the recent post list) to know which one it should put a comparison table on top of. So if you have multiple lists of posts on a page and ask the plugin to add a table, it will end up adding it to all those locations.
