Finally got around the upgrading but when i did that...all my previous ratings that show up with each comment disappeared. did i do something wrong?

I think you might've already e-mailed me about this, but if you went from WPRS 2.x to 3.x, you can now set rating categories on a per-post or per-category basis. This also means all your posts default to no categories but you can add them back with just one click through the "Bulk Apply Ratings" feature in the "Rating Categories" settings menu.

thanks. when i tried to do all category, it would start but not load the entire page (so basically a blank page in the content area). so i had to manually check off the boxes i had and select each category and do it that way.

one question...i just added a new post to a category and the ratings didn't show up until i checked the boxes again and chose the category it was in. is this something i have to do everytime now?

in my comment template i am using this string:

On the "Write Post"/"Edit Post" screen, there is a box labeled "Rating Categories" where you choose the categories for that post. You do not have to bulk apply every time you create a new post, since you can set the rating categories when creating the post.
