  Mini-Bar Fraud-Do you cheat?

  I got billed for 40 cigarettes in the Hyatt in Dubai - heck I don't smoke, have never smoked and didn't even have the kind of a good time that would make me want to smoke.  I reckon some pesky member of staff raided the minibar and I got billed - and then waived.  I hate minibars in rooms and would prefer if the space was taken u with something more useful like, maybe, a shelf full of secondhand books.

  Thinking outside the box or lazy ?

  That is just so stupidly dangerous it makes my blood boil.  Notwithstanding the complete stupidity of it all, the mother/minder should keep both hands on the buggy and should also have a safety leash from her wrist to the buggy.  Whether she is right or left-handed, one of the two 'vehicles' - or both - is not under her control.  If a car/bicycle/idiot mother on segway crosses her path she will not be able to steer herself or baby out of the way...the lack of wrist leash means bye-bye baby.  If segway runs out of power then presumably it stops and gobshite of the year keeps going under buggy momentum, falls over onto buggy, buggy tips backward - or lets go of buggy.  She's probably a pro-lifer too.

  For the 99th time I think I'm right but in the interests of hypothesising the least likely and therefore correct solution: man gets shot by estranged wife who prefers man 2 and "...that thing he does...".  Man 2 dies of "...that thing she does...".

  He is on top of the ladder but the ladder is in a 19-foot hole.  He is on the moon.  He is under water.  He jumps off the top of the ladder onto the flat roof of a building.  He is wearing 20-foot platform shoes.

  Good news/Bad News

  This is in point of fact a very commmon problem among people diagnosed with HIV in the early nineties who are still alive: they variously canned their careers, spent their pension fund, partied hard, dropped out of university, travelled the world, etc, all on the then reasonable expectation that they would be dead by the time they were thirty.  Now they're 45, still very much alive and well, can't get a job, can't get medical insurance and are economically and otherwise feeling marginalised.

   

  On a separate note I have a friend who was diagnosed with Hep A at a Melbourne hospital, only to find out a year later that it was a mistake - all this while he was starting a new life and relationship.
