  remember, these gadgets are for displaying static images.  once you focus on that, you can do wonders with battery life.  that and the big screen are the big wins with this over a smartphone.

  What's the best task list tool for Mac?

  iGTD for Mac is great now, and getting better all thetime.  And it's free.  I've used Backpack, RTM andVitalist, but just find web apps too unresponsive.

  Video on home page interferes with invitations

  I logged into the home page, where the video is, and then went tocheck out my invitations. The window popped up but when I mousedover it, the video widget got the mouse events and popped up overthe top, obscuring the invitations window so I couldn't useit.  Because the invitations window is modal I couldn't doanything and had to kill the browser session and come backin.  I'm running FF 2.0.0.3 on OSX.

  The new breed

  I think basic mobile phone design converged a while back, but smartphone design is still a little fluid.  The slide up keyboard like the Helios and iMate seems to be the current fave, but full touchscreens give you a lot more flexibility in input modes at the expense of tactile feedback from mechanical buttons.  Having been a Palm user for years, I'm ok with that tradeoff, but let's ditch the stylus for good.
