  Why is Christmas here already?

  Wrt Xmas, I was in David Jones about a month ago. I don't know why. I generally have no business there. It is scary passing through the doulton section with the kids. I noted one particular area was full of xmas trees. It was the one time I was encouraging the boys to willfully or otherwise inflict damage in a retail store.

  US Financial Crisis

  I can remember when the Commonwealth Bank's logo was an elephant the the phrase was 'get with the strength'. I still have a circa 1979 plastic Commonwealth Bank elephant (piggy) bank. Now the logo is a bit of burnt toast and the phrase is well documented.

  I found the final to be a conflict of disinterest. All I wanted to see was one team rip the other one a new arsehole. Good result.
