We Need to Talk abut Kevin, by Lionel Shriver
I just finished this book and I was so floored! My heart was pounding! Such a twist at the end. It took me ages to get through as it is so heavy, but I am glad I persisted with it.
Nature versus nurture. Personally, I think he was a bad seed, but I know others who think the mother wasn't a very good person. A greta book for discussion.

I am trying to decide which island to go to in Thailand for my honeymoon - either Phi Phi or Koh Samui. Does anyone have any feedback on either? We want a bit of nightlife, not just isolation.

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
Yes, I enjoyed this one. Thought the first half was amazing but it dropped off a bit for me by the end. Looking forward to Hosseini's new one, Thousand Spendid Suns.

The Kite Runner, Khaled Hosseini
