  Kids and genitalia (a funny mix)

  My daughter (3) saw her younger brothers doodle and said " Mum, he'd got an elephants trunk!"  Needless to say Dad went around lgoating his son was hung like an elephant.

  3yo later had bath with brother and said "mum his bottom looks weird". You see she has a front bottom and a back bottom so his front bottom didn't look like hers.

  Real Paranormal Experience

  I do have a a ghost not goat experience to tell - still freaks me out over 15 yrs later.

  My friend, my brother and I were trying a seance(is that how you spell it). We didn't really wan to talk to a ghost or spirit it was just the thing you tried when you were a teenanger. I knew my parents would kill me if they found out.  Anyway we were pushing the glass around not really spelling anything just trying to scare each other and the next thing the table broke. Scared the crap out of me. My parents came home - table broken- spirit did it. The bad thing is I still have that table, it was a handme down from my parents - reminded everyday.:O

  The Talker

  My advice would be to be semi honest with that friend -tell him/her that you have things to do - you do have two kids! Tell them from the start of the phone call that you have say 15 mins for them and then you have to... go. A true friend would understand, not to say that initially they wouldn't feel a little hurt but you have to tell them. I had a friend like that (lets be honest I was the friend) it forced me to find different things to do with my spare time, other people to talk to. I relied on this one person for eveything and that wasn't fair. I'm better for it, I'm sure your friend will be too.

  I was born in Calgary Canada. DOn't feel very canadian but always defend it against american insult.

  I moved then to Sydney, Aust, then to Melbourne then back to Syd.

  Calgary is famous for their stampedes (rodeos). It snow there. Its in the middle not far from the border to USA. My claim to fame, my great uncle was the Prime Minister of Canada!! Beat that.

  Kids' Parties

  Buying bulk is a great idea!

  Don't let other parents change the way you want to do parties, better yet how H wants his parties. I agree with Marty - all are invited becasue they don't know who to invite.  Your kid will get invited if they are their friend, whether or not you invited them.  If  your son isn't stressed about the whole friend thing don't let yourself, its just our horrible memories of primary and high school flooding back to haunt us!
