  Favorite Cover Anyone?

  Frenchie--totally agree.  The art on the cover is kind of campy and if I was just browsing I would have walked right on by.  But now that I am obsessed, I have to say that my favorite is the new one DAG because it seems to imply (though we know the covers don't always match the storyline) that there is a face off b/t Bill and Eric and I love the thought of the DRA-MA!  Aside from that, then it would have to be DTTW

  Book #9: Dead and Gone (Speculation Only)

  Hmm, if Sookie is going to be betrayed I am guessing that it will be by Niall.  I think it will be one of those fae vs human things where he doesn't realize whatever it is he does is a betrayal but it will slap Sookie upside the head anyway.  Perhaps he will have something to do with weakening the blood bond?

  And I think the dead werepanther will be Crystal.  I never saw her as a long-term character and I think based on Chapter 1 of DAG, CH is itching to get Jason back out on the market and back to his usual narcissitic, prowling, ass-hole self.  And frenchie--totally agree with you, this would put Jason back in the hot seat.  Especially because he didn't come out during the were great reveal!!!

  OOh--ooh, then somehow Sook will get all wrapped up in the middle and Eric will have to prove his loyalty to her all over again. and then they have the convo we've all been waiting for and then the HMS!!!!!

  Fashion Saints & Sinners in Sookiverse: A Lesson On What NOT to Wear.

  Other crimes against fashion include but are not limited to;

  1. The chartruse bridesmaid dress Sookie borrows from Amelia to wear to the ball.
  2. The Tweety Bird t-shirt Sookie sleeps in.
  3. The detachable sleeves on the red dress wears to Club Dead.

  OMG, Rachel you totally read my mind!!!!!  Every time I read the scene where Sook is in that stupid tweety bird tshirt I want to gag!  And then in CD with the dress that is supposed to be amazing--I have to alter it in my mind to get through it!!!!

  Dancing at Club Dead

  Rachel, the dance scene never really rang true for me either.  1) I love that song, but I can't see "gettin' down" to it, and 2) really?--you did this for your HS talent show?  I know that Sook is not the kind of girl that tries to be popular but, REALLY?  It just didn't flow for me.  But then again, neither do some of the outfits that CH describes.  I'd say about 60% sound absolutely hideious.

  In fact, it kinda reminds me of Naploean Dynamite at times.  As if Bon Temps is in some kind of bizarre 1986 worm hole.  Hey, who knows?  It is a Supernatural World

  True Blood TV Discussion's: It's an Alan Ball world...

  Naveen Andrews is PERFECT for Rasul!  He's tough, but has kind of a rascally charm.  Pearle I freaking LOVE Eric Bana as Alcide.  I think if you take Eric Bana as he was in Munich--all bulked up and rugged, that he's dead on!.

  What about Hayden Christiansen--sexiest man alive.  He'd have to be a Vampire I think.  Where do you guys see him fitting in?  Maybe as Victor Madden?!

  Sookie's Vampire Mind Flashes

  Wait, what about in ATD at the trial when she read the mind of the AK vamp that was filing the charge against SA.  Remember, she has a revelation about how she unravelled the puzzle of why he was against SA after she was so kind to him . . . she read his mind and knew that someone else put him up to it.  I think she says something about thinking it had to do with having JUST done the blood exchange with Eric.  Am I wrong?

  Sookie on Audio - Reviews and Comments on the Sookie Audiobooks

  Nancy--thanks for the head's up on the discounted prices. . .I don't have the first four on audio but the last four are AWESOME!  Not sure who said it and on which thread, but the audio does add another layer to the story.  I've read and reread and listened and relistened to the books a million times.  And the reader, Johanna is very good!  I definitely recommend.
