Darwin got wait listed. Even though he made a great impression on the Headmistress and the teachers....He arrived for his interview a month and a half late due to sea troubles...He lives on a freakin' island on the other side of the world, s@#* happens.
*shrug*

Countdown to crying in a corner like a little girl.
Ok. I sent it in. Yay! Now it's time for me to freak out. Just so you guys know, if I don't get in, I may become an alcoholic. You guys don't want to be responsible for making me an alcoholic do you? So do the right thing, m'kay?

I'm putting Elves in my story. No fantasy story is complete without Elves...Or Fairies. Let's not forget the Fairies.

Darwin's just cocky. His personality makes him more of an outright "Good-guy". He lives for doing the right thing, even if he is a thief. He does these things in his own way, which could make him out to be a villain in the eyes of others.

If you're a cleric or something like that, you can easily tell it exist. The problem with the curse on his family is that people who have such connection with higher energies sense his family and assume that they are evil. The shadowy, sneaky nature of his bloodline doesn't help fix that theory.
W.T. he is going to go there to learn. No matter how experienced someone is, they can always learn more. Meeting new people is just apart of going to school. Think of it like Averi or Rai. Both of them went to schools for the things they wanted to learn more AND gain some independence from their families.
Something I think I will help you guys understand where I'm going with my character.
Darwin is the only son of Hugo Nightlent and Mala Highstar. Born in Dallana, the largest island in the Vindhale Island chain in a small village called Glowind, Darwin has always wanted for adventure and danger. As a boy, he used to try and sneak away with his mom and dad anytime they went out on an adventure or quest. He feels that his home is just too small and empty for him, which is why when he graduated from the Woodside Fight School he spent two years in a large bustling city alone so he could get a feel for the world outside.
Darwin is just one of the latest generations of Nightlents to be affected by Nightlent Curse. The curse has forced the Nightlents to live in hiding as otherwise they will be hunted by people believing them to be possessed by deamons. Above all else, Darwin wants to end his family's curse so that all the Nightlents after him won't have to live away from everything just to survive. This has made him determined to attend Eastridge, facing his fear of the outside world in order to do so.

Phase Two - Writing for Adventurers
My only question is if our characters don't get to be apart of Phase 2 right now, can we reapply them next year?
