Tangler rocks.
I have to admit though, this Tangler group in embedded in a page is new to me (but extremely cool). Well done!

interesting stats. The first thing i would do, is increase the AdapterRefreshInterval - 800 seconds is VERY frequently, and while it obviously your choice, bandwidth both for yourself and the publisher will add up very quickly. Having a little more time between refreshes will also decrease the overal Particls CPU time.
Anyway, glad things are better for you and we're trying to make things even better for you in the upcomming builds.

Problem with relative URLs in ATOM
Unfortunately we don't support relative URLs as you have discovered - but good catch. I'll chuck it on the "todo" list and get to it ASAP.

Francois, i was actually thinking the same thing myself the other day with having the favicons, also the action items, but hehe, if you saw our "wish list" already....![]()
In the next build i hope to have tool tipson the tool items, but i didn't get to them in time for this build.

Particls v0.9.2355.0 released (ExperimentalBuild)
the APML corruption bug has existed for a little while in the testbeds here in the office, but we've never been able to reproduce with a live build, so at the time it wasnt considered uber high priority. Obviously some people have been getting it, which is why, last night in fact, we've started working on a tripple safe guard to protecting and backing up user's APML data.
We already have a safe-guard in place, by writting out the APML changes into a tmp file first and then copying the tmp file over the top of the actual APML file, but we discoverd that if your Particls crashes EXACTLY at the right moment when the APML object thread is half way through that process, the tmp file and the APML file can be corrupted.
Thats a lot of technical jargon, but the point is, that it's unrelated to this build and in the next release, there are 3 fail-safes (and stronger exception handling) now instead of one to safe guard this very important data.

Particls is programed to automatically load URLs in the default OS browser. Sometimes, dureing a FireFox installation, FF doesnt proplerly asign itself as the default browser. When this happens, Particls actually traps an error, becasue it failed to launch the URL. If this error is trapped, then we manually launch the URL using iexplore.exe.
I was recently thinking, however, that it might be good (and easy) to have a setting in Particls which would allow power users to override this behaviour, and this would certianly solve the browser issue for many users.
If your gaim, set your upgrade mode to "Experimental" and I will see if I can slip this into an upcomming build for you.![]()

The other option, is to create a special "InTouch" package for these default feeds (and skin if you like) - at http://intouch.particls.com. Then you collegues can just download the single installer for your package and they dont have to worry about any of that "IT" stuff.

Hi pstrg, if you type SunMicrosystems into the word window, it wll be interpreted as "sun microsystems".
I do like your idea however, and the development team has been talking about watch word, words in context (words in context of other words) for some time. One of the biggest hurdles was user interface issues with allowing operators within words, but I like your suggestion a lot. We will have to see what we can do for you.
