  True Blood: S3, Episode 3: "It Hurts Me Too" Discussion

  I don't mind that AB does not want to follow the book story line exactly... I kinda like that it could be different, but for fuck sake, at least make it something that does suck ASS...

  I don't mind either - but the fact that he has it handed to him on a platter & he jacks it up this bad?  Get over yourself AB. 

  I think the person that probably has the hardest time this is Charlaine Harris.  Could you imagine having to sit and watch you stories get turned upside down with bad delivery of lines and further more have to watch people placed into the roles you've created that are nothing like what you pictured when you wrote the book!   What's even worse, you don't want to say anything about it because it's the show that's now making your books even more popular.   All I can say is PLEASE don't screw up season 4!

  True Blood Sea 3, Episode 2 - "Beautifully Broken" Discussion

  @lcm123...Loved: SS impression of Bill "Soooooookkkkkeeeeeh". I loved it too...she actually made me laugh.  I don't find Franklin attractive at all.  He was certainly turned on by Tara punching the crap out of that guy.

  Now about Bill setting Lorena on fire...Bill was locked in a hotel room with Lorena last season and they both were tired and weak at that time...her words "We both know that I am stronger and faster"....soooooooooo what happened this time?  I think you're right Laura...I think that Bill Fantasized that he threw that at Lorena. It didn't really happen.  They may actually have Sookie to be the one that stakes her like in the books.

  I was annoyed with jessica's lack of common sense with that dead body.  Now she's going to freak out the rest of the season wondering if he got up and walked away!!!  I wonder where Franklin put it....hmmm graveyard right next door?!  Now why didn't Jessica think of that?!

  About Sam...sucks that his brother tried to get him killed by an oncoming vehicle.  At least that's how I took it.

  I think that Eric is starting to show bits of his sensitive side to Sookie almost as if she's the only one that brings it out of him.  Showing up at her door admitting to have told her a lie, telling her that her life it too valuable, showing signs of sympathy when she cried about Bill...these are all things that shows that Eric's not the cold and heartless sheriff that he wants peole to believe he is.

  Other Book Recommendations 2

  Ah....I became curious and went ahead and got Fallen by Lauren Kate.  I'm only up to page 20 but it seems interesting so far.  If you can find any other Angel/Human pairings let me know.  J.R. Ward has that Fallen Angels series but the first book "Covet" didn't seem like a romance but more like suspense/mystery book.

  I had hoped that the miniseries would develop into something more especially since it ended with him on the run but it didn't.  I liked it when it came on TV for that short amount of time.

  True Blood Season Three (Discussion) - Episode 1

  Oh no!...I missed those...I try to see what I can on YouTube but I don't always catch them.  I thought it was great that she kept taking appreciative peeks at Yvetta all tied up after she led Sookie down to the basement.  Yeah she had that "I can't wait to try" look on her face.

  Book #10: Dead In the Family **SPOILERS**

  Sook wound up in bed sandwiched btwn Claude and Dermot (who, ick, looks like her brother?!!)  Yes that was odd.  I think Eric was a big softy in this book.  Glad Bill finally got a girl but I will miss his subtle hints to Sookie of still wanting her...if that stops.   Guess he knew he had no chance of getting her back.

  TB Sea #3: Spec's, Draft Picks(Casting) & Star Players *THREAD CLOSED. NO POSTING*

  Nice pictures.  I see in the pic with Sookie holding the gun that they have her wearing the ring that Bill gave her when he proposed at the end of season 2. I suppose after they return from Mississipp (after the trunk incident) it won't be on her finger much longer after that.  I do like the thought of Eric being shown in early episodes.  Hopefully, we will see a lot of him in EVERY episode.

  I think this is AB setting us up for some serious Sookie pursuit by Eric in season 3 (at least I am reading it that way).  I think so too. Remember Bill won't be around to get in the way this time. It would be the perfect opportunity.  I'm really anxious to see just how different this season will be from the books.

  Other Book Recommendations.**THREAD CLOSED-READ ONLY**

  I've read all of the HON books and I find them entertaining from a Young Adult perspective.  I think they repeat in terms of recapping as if they're trying to catch up a reader that may not have read the previous books.  I have noticed that it's leaning more towards sex and the peer pressure that tends to go along with it when you're a teenager.  Zoey still struggles with not knowing which guy she wants to date and the total of prospects has climbed to 4. This number includes Kalona, the fallen angel that also wants to bed Zoey. I think that adding him was an interested touch to the series.  "Tempted" is due out on Oct 27th.  I've already pre-ordered my copy.

  Has anyone made the connection that that email address "pussylover9"...isn't Dallas Area 9?  Something only a vamp would know right?   It is possible that it's SA but there's also the possiblity that it's a Vamp we haven't met yet.
