  DAG - THE LOVE SCENE

  I totally agree with the fact that he said " this is best" in regards to remembering she had said,- "You said I was the very best you ever had" 

  I think that after when he said this is right he was refering to their being together as being right. That through everything he always thought that they would be a good match and he was right and they are right. They were simple and to the point words but had so much meaning as if they fit like puzzle pieces together. So Eric-like..I thought it was intense and romantic and had so much meaning.

  Unresolved issues

  Thanks for that great explanation..I had forgotten since I read all books in a month & a half that Eric probably had been worried that Sookie would blame him and that was a good reason for telling her.

  I also wasnt saying that I disagreed with Eric..I think he did the right think..I just always wondered what his motive was. Thanks again.

  Jason - jerk or just misunderstood?

  I think Jason is selfish and whenever he comes into the story I am slightly bored. He doesn't do things for Sookie unless he knows he can get something out of it or in a later date Sookie will do something for him.

  I was so happy when she had to crush Calvins hand that she told Jason she was over him and his BS basically. I was like "Go Sookie!"

  Blood Count: Sookie's taste of vampire blood

   Not unlike how he sees Sookie for who she is, and doesn't try to change or reign that in (unlike Bill, Alcide, Quinn, and yes, even Sam).

  "Ad Nauseum": All the Reason's for Sook/Eric to be together (a.k.a: "ESA"-Eric/Sookie Anonymous)

  He loves Sookie..he is fighting with a battle inside b/c like CMaC said he has never been in love before. So he is battling with these emotions. He doesn't understand why, after hundreds of years of everything being about himself, that he seems to want to please her before himself. I think he still has alot to work on b/c he is always sending other people to go see her but its hard to break a thousand year habit.

  He is always thinking out loud and not finishing his thougts if you notice. He thinks about what their future holds(him & Sookie), he thinks about the fact that she doesn't want to be turned so he will eventually have to let her go as an old woman.He wouldn't be thinking these things of he didn't love her.

  Who Is The "One" for Sookie **THREAD CLOSED - READ ONLY**

  I totally agree..it was nice to see Eric open and emotional while he lost his memory but the witty banter was definitely missing. I think that was the point, because, it made Sookie realize that not only did she like him that way(when he stayed with her).... but when he was being himself also. A good mixture once he remembered that week was the best! Those were some of my favorite pages of the entire series. I also agree with some of the other posters that they are really perfect for each other. He treats her as his equal, she challenges him and isnt drooling over him like most women. At the same time, she trust him more than anyone and know he doesn't feed her any bull. When he tells her something he means it and she loves that about their relationship. He als doesn't talk down to her as if he is better or she is a child. He is always there to help her heal when she is hurting. I think he loves her and it is profound love and fun in the moment love at the same time.
