Other Book Recommendations.**THREAD CLOSED-READ ONLY**
I admit I wanted to know more about Constantine at the end and just the vampires and Others in general. I keep wondering if Vampires are more like Bo or Constantine in Mckinley's universe.

Favorite Lines from Sookieverse.
I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic. This is my favorite exchange-
"We could go back," he said. In the dome light of the car, his face looked hard as stone. "We could go back to your house. I can stay with you always. We can know each other's bodies in every way, night after night. I could love you." His nostrils flared, and he looked suddenly proud. "I could work. You would not be poor. I would help you."
"Sounds like a marriage," I said, trying to lighten the atmosphere. But my voice was too shaky.
"Yes," he said.

Who Is The "One" for Sookie **THREAD CLOSED - READ ONLY**
I secretly really like Barry. I think because he's in the same situation (being neck deep in vamp/supe politics) as Sookie that they would have a real understanding. I know the whole "telepathic" part of their relationship would be a real bother, but maybe they would be able to control and he's young- I think around 20 or 21 (although in ATD he had grown up a lot). But this is just a thought- I'm team Eric all the way with Sam coming in a distance second...maybe Barry after that.

General: Info, Announcements & Introductions
Hello. My name is Lauren. I am 28, unmarried and one dog. I watched the true blood series last fall and really enjoyed it. During the season 2 4th of july break I grew restless waiting for the next episode so I googled the show and found out it's based on a series of books. I bought the first couple and read the entire series in three days. I love the books! I'm glad I watched the show first so I'm not that disappointed when I watch it, but the books are much better. I enjoy reading everyone's posts and I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't seem to get enough of sookie stackhouse!

Book #9 Dead and Gone (For those that HAVE READ already) *SPOILERS*
Hi Meander, I agree with you. I always thought it was weird that when she called in her "favors" she didn't really get a large amount of support. Especially with the vamps, I mean she saved the king and she didn't ask Eric for the favor (as her blood bond husband) but the king of Nevada. I would have thought he would have at least sent a few vamps to help...
