  Hmmmm.... So do you think CH is going to pull a Blade and made Sook part vamp too? I'm so curious about where Immanuel is supposed to end-up in this book too now. minor characters end-up dead or turn-out to be a motivator or spur for Sook to act on a decision etc.

  CH Q & A's, Interviews, etc **THREAD CLOSED. READ ONY. SEE NEW THREAD**

  Most here on this forum have read the series to the point we can recite page and paragraph, as far as keeping up with the Sookieverse news everyone has their sources and not just HBO TB and CH's website: interviews she gives at ComCon to book signings and tours; it is all deposited and discussed here. We do base our views or predictions on cannon of the books and interviews given. We all have our favorite characters, and for most, Eric has won his right to be A favorite after so many re-reading of the books and listening to the audiobooks. All the characters are easily real to us because they are so layered with personality and history for us. It isn't so much that we just love Eric and hate Bill it's just the traits attributed to them IN THE BOOKS give us reason to lean toward him as the better choice. Personally Sookie irritates me a lot, BUT she has her redeeming qualities that make me overlook her blonde moments.

  Thanks Laura!!! I've been in the garden since spring hit so I haven't been keeping up. I drove to Walmart (it's closer) and grabbed a copy. I feel much better now.

  Amelia: Friend or Foe

  Oh no I wasn't suggesting that I didn't like Amelia. I love Amelia, she's just not as careful as she should be. She has loads of self-esteem, just reckless at moments she shouldn't be. As for Friend or foe, I'd guess friend.

  Book #10: Dead in the Family - Speculation (THREAD CLOSED **READ ONLY**)

  Here's something that still bugs me: Pam going on a killing spree. Why would Pam, one of the most practical and even tempered vamps in the series, go on a killing spree? And why oh why, would Eric let her? Thalia is the Pit Bull on a leash not Pam. UNLESS of course Pam's killing spree is part of a move by Eric to be King. That's the only way I see Pam going on an unrestrained killing spree.

  Where was this said? Is it the 1st chap. of DITF?

  No Judy it was in the first synopsis that was released for DITF, but that was before the editor got hold of it, so I think now it's going to be a short story.

  Book #9 Dead and Gone (For those that HAVE READ already) *SPOILERS*

  I think Claudine's death bugged me because she was important to Sookie. Crystal was no great prize but Sookie was thrashed about how it was going to affect Jason and her potential niece/nephew died. Claudine was good to Sookie and Sookie was very fond of her. Just the mental picture of pregnant women being viciously murdered isn't great.

  Ahhh Liann! I can identify with your hubby... I've been reading Stephen King since I was in the third grade... yeah 8 y/o I managed to finish the Shining in 18hrs and then I HAD TO open the shower curtain and look in the tub before I could use the bathroom until I was 10!
