  junebug & fffbone - it's semi sarcastic I believe.  It's related to the fact that a large % of fanfic worships Eric and either makes Sookie wet and pathetic, or horrible.  The intention is to embrace the sarcasm and run with it as a joke.  As I understand it, the entries are meant to be funny.

  ***POTENTIALLY REAL SPOILERS for DITF: Do not read if you don't want to know.**

  I'm having funny feelings about this chapter in the back of D&G paper back... now I'm not saying it's not real, just it doesn't seem to sit right with me.

  One thing CH does do is keep us hanging on - why would she allow a cliffy like Eric's no-show to be dealt with without making us buy book10?

  I've seen books mimic FF before now (end of Harry Potter anyone?) so I'm not discounting it, but I'm going to wait until May before I believe anything I read online.

  Oh I hate it when they change the cover designs while you're still collecting a series!!!  *screams*  Gives me a reason to spend more money buying the hardbacks - simply so I can remove and destroy the dust jackets.

  Hi Ronni,

  I got the 9 books for Christmas from my husband and read them in a week, so my wait's not been far off yours either.  I have bided my time by reading some really good fanfiction (have a look at the fanfic topics on here for great links).  I fell so in love with some of the fanfiction out there that I have this horrid feeling I'm going to be really disappointed with what ever CH deals out next.

  I have to share this with other SMV fans, and I figure this thread's probably the best place....

  My husband and I are refurbishing a house that we hope to move into in a few months, and we just bought the bathroom furniture!  Initially my husband wanted a really big bath, which I wasn't keen on, but was prepared to go along with because I didn't have any other suggestions...

  Until we'd both read DttW that is.

  The shower we've just bought is the biggest thing I think I've ever seen!

  (the bath is pretty much normal size)
