  When Web 2.0 Has an 'Expo', Does It Mean the End?

  I went to the Expo.... honestly, the best Web 2.0 discussions were in the open sessions where participants put on sessions.  I found the maintstream conference discussions dry, pedantic, and rarely engaging.  I wasn't wowed by the speakers---but I was by many of the participants.  

   Somebody needs to create more events like the open version of the Web 2.0 conference.
