  You should be able to search the Topic list

  And you could keep that "Search Group" button but give it a different function. Let's say: "Search within this Topic".

  Of course that function is already "covered" in a way by the simple "Find in this Page" function in browsers...

  Tangler Desktop Notifier

  You should be able to select which topics you would like Tangler Desktop Notifier to inform you about. I mean, I might be a member of 43432308 discussions but I don't want to be informed about all of them. That would be a nightmare. So I should be able to select which ones the desktop notifier notifies me about.

  Introduction to Idea 2.0

  A tangler group being one of the elements that promotes the furthering of the projects. But you have to understand that most of the people who participated work their own jobs too, so people are pressed for time.
