If you ever get lost in the Milky Way...
I agree, we'd be in Sol.
Also, good news for our Andromeda travelers. Starting 3tm* years from now, and continuing for 1tm years, the Milky Way and Andromeda will be integrating their local services more closely. Some downtime during this period is to be expected, and will not last more than a few million years for any expanse.
*(because billion is ill-defined, we use tm = thousand million = 1,000,000,000)

Day longer than year? (SOLVED)
...right. I forgot about that.
But that kinda abuses the definitions of 'day' and 'year' - using the sun to measure a day, but the earth to measure a year. Doesn't pass the sniff test, but it's better than any so far (except that I thought Venus would win it)
