Things I like: brutal honesty, accents, road trips, undirected mental play (read: daydreaming!), different cultures, magazines, psychology, unusual people, doing nothing, flea markets, contagious laughter, toys, time alone and my bed. Oh, yeah, and Stumbleupon!

Yes. I *try to refrain* from stumbling while I have a lot of work.
Your productivity suffers incredibly. You hardly notice because it's little by little but then *boom* you're so far behind you don't know which end is up!

I moved my contributions over to: http://www.tangler.com/group/3017/topic/6442 (Tech News) as Bric pointed out up there *points up*
*whispers: But I just installed Split Screen... I can see where that will come in very handy at times! Thanks!*

I have discovered many fine extensions from seeing others' lists. So here's mine:

Hmmmm... let's see.... favorite movies growing up....
Not that you'd want to run out and rent these movies but they do stand out to me when thinking back...
Wizard of Oz (of course! This was a favorite while growing up! Though it wasn't from the 70s... but still....)
Jaws (the lines at the cinema went around the block!)
The Poseiden Adventure (lines around the block again!)
The Sting (*sigh* Robert Redford + Paul Newman = hot!)
Carrie (such a scandalous movie back then!)
Halloween (scary a la 70s!) ![]()
Love Story (chimi sings: *Where do I begin.... to tell the story of how ladeladela....* Don't throw tomatoes... I'll stop)
Blazing Saddles![]()
Saturday Night Fever (My Mom dragged me to disco dancin' classes a couple of weeks later! *rolls eyes* You just don't do that to a teenager! I wanted to die!)
So, I'm thinking Gracey, that what you want to know, maybe, is what old movies we recommend... more than the ones we remember from childhood, right?

Where are you from? *or* Where are you now?
Oh, and yes, the fact that the US is so young. Hmmm. Don't you think the general character of the USA is influenced by the fact that those who emigrated there gave up everything known to them to venture out into the unknown and make a new life for themselves? Look at those who settled out in the *Wild West*!
My grandfather had HUMONGOUS balls... to pick up and cross the ocean back in the early 1900's.
Yes, Americans have something special in their blood, me thinks, because of that.

My kids (especially my son) tended to have temper tantrums like that.
One time, in a mall (in the US), he got like that and I picked him up like a sack of potatoes and carried him - wailing and screaming and kicking - out to the car.
I must say it's hard to discipline your kids in the US, though, as there are always people trying to turn you in for the most minimal.
Case in point: my sister... who left the mall behind me saw some man get all scandalized that I would actually *treat my kid* in such a way! (Some people think you should give a child their every whim, I guess.)This man went running to a phone booth. - my sister *thinks* to call the police.
Give me a break.

How did you hear about Tangler
I had an invitation once to Me.Dium... but then I found out you had to download it... and it seemed kinda strange... like I don't know if I want people knowing where I am and chating at me while I'm there. I dunno. *shrugs*
So, ya'll like it alot?
Hmmmmmmm.
*ponders whether to try it or not*
(I really don't need another addictive forum/site/social network! I'm a full time Mom with a full time job!!)
*rolls eyes*

Another suggestion:
Give each post a number so that we may refer to them in conversation.
