  I lost a game because I was voted off...

  There is another site that I play, what is basically a Risk clone, at and the way they have it setup is that when you create a game you can set the time limits for each players turn.  The way they have it is to set it to send a reminder email to the player that it is their turn every xx number of minutes, or hours, and then you can set how many reminders you want to be sent.  So you could set it to send the reminder every 6 hrs and then set it to send this 2x so their time limit would basically be 12 hrs.  It is a good system that works out well I think.
