  • truce for trips/vacation/holidays

    There certainly are point whores out there and you will never get rid of them. I've voted people off that have taken more than the allotted time because I haven't heard from them and did know when they would be back. I only have 4 slots, I like to keep my games moving during the week. It really is a tough decision to make, but I think they'll come up with a good solution eventually. As pointed out before, something that give you an idea of how trustworthy a player is will go a long way. I say open up the profiles to game based feedback. If you play against a someone, you can post a response on their profile. Check against ebay's patents first.:)

  • Player Stats

    To continue the off-topic heist, I'd like to get a 2v2/3v3/2v2v2 game going. I like to see how that turns out from the start. I've been in a few games where it turned into XvY, where Y usually = 1 because they were kicking butt and taking names.

    Who's up for it? I'm 8am-4pm GMT-5 (approx).

  • Game Abuse Report

    Speaking of alliances, I would like to see an in-game system to form alliances. That way you can work through ZOC, not target allies and have it listed publicly.

    I'm currently in a 6 player game with 3 coworkers and 2 pickup players. One of the pickup players is rolling over us. No collusion here. We're just flat out getting our butts kicked. It all comes down to trust. There needs to be a trust system in place. Karma is a good place to start, but it will probably be a while before anything gets built into the system.

  • The Artillery strikes back

    I agree with Simonz on ZOC. It definitely needs to be tweaked for the different units. I would also caution against putting changes into existing games. It's really screwed up my strategy when Hvy Troopers went to 150c and the unit abilities changed. Please test these changes first. You have a dedicated group of testers that are willing to assist.

  • Player Removal System

    Whether the player is removed or skipped, you will have to destroy any units on his bases to take them. They will see their cause is lost and either surrender or maybe help another threatened player. I like the idea of skipped turns. Maybe make it selectable at game start. Skip or remove after X hours/days.
