I progressively came to use Particls less and less, and have now abandonded it. I'm using Twine a lot, as well as AideRss and Youlicit. I haven't looked at the new Yoono but it could be cool too. Competition is heavy, which is nice... Am really looking forward to trying Particls 2...
Just checked the Particls blog. My impression is that DP and APML seem to be more important priorities for Faraday Media than Particls. Has Chris said anything about this lately?

Here's a suggestion for version 2 of Particls: use the Freebase autocomplete function to help users find the most appropriate words to put in their watchlist.See blog post http://blog.freebase.com/?p=74 (which by the way mentions the concept of data portability).
Check the links to the discussion in the developer forum (tagging blog posts with Freebase topics, etc) and the demos in the "Freebase suggest" page (http://code.google.com/p/freebase-suggest/).

Visual mapping of a discussion/argument
You might enjoy having a look at a new interest group on Freebase on the topic of argument modeling (a larger topic than argument visual mapping, but clearly related)

Wow, version 2... I'm still on 0.9. Did I miss version 1?

Yes, it went well. Actually what I find most surprising is the big disappointment of French supporters after we got killed by the Brits. I think getting to the semis was a pretty nice achievement. I'm quite happy with that![]()

I agree too; we put the syrup on the table for tradition sake, but rarely touch it... or just a tiny drop

We all feel sad for the kiwis. French fans have about the same respect (fear/admiration) for the All Blacks as for Brazilian football... Very few people here believed the French could win this game. The kiwis clearly had a better team, they were stronger, played better, and yes they deserved to win and were unlucky when the referee missed the forward pass in the last French try. But in the second half, the French just looked like they had to win, they made very few mistakes, played very good defence... while the kiwis looked so cool and confident, like if they knew they were the best and bound to win...
The problem now is that a french victory over England is much more believable than over New Zealand. Just hope they'll find a way to keep the same fighting spirit and qualify for the final against the Boks where again, they should lose, unless...
