  Embedded Tangler Testing

  actually, that bug is the same for Firefox on Windows as well.  It's not specific to the embedded widget though. If I sign out of Tangler and then use a direct URL to the topic, my cursor is defaulted into the grayed out message box.  Even though the sign in or join message is there, I can still type over it

  Hard to find private conversations

  I agree that it is a bit hard to find your private conversations.  I would like to see it popup on my Groups page as a separate group when I have a new message, or maybe just show up like the others where the little yellow number message indicator appears beside your private conversation group.  I miss most of my private conversations and don't respond until a day later when I happen to stumble upon them.  Keep in mind I cannot use the tangler notifier because I am behind a firewall, and I am still waiting for the glorious day when we see real time RSS/email notifications.

  Private Group Search

  @Bricoleur Actually, yes, it does.  This must have been the problem when I was searching.   Suggestion: once it takes me to the topic where the search term(s) were found, it would be nice if the terms were highlighted ala firefox, safari, etc.  This isn't a must since I can always just use ctrl-F, but it would be nice to not have to search twice.  Thanks for the help!

  Tangler and RSS

  Hi Marty, thanks for the update.  I think the "Recent Activity" menu option works really well.  If I could subscribe to that via email or RSS, it would be a beautiful thing.  I prefer to get every message in real time, but I do agree with Pistos that others may prefer to get a daily or 25 message summary digest as well.

  Topic subscriptions/notifications

  For example, as soon as I leave this group, I am wondering how I will ever find this topic again to see if you respond.  I certainly don't want to join the group and receive the thousands of messages coming through here. Cheers, ewH

  Desktop Notifier needs Proxy Settings

  I second the need for proxy settings on the notifier.  I need to be able to specify a proxy anytime I am behind a corp firewall and/or vpn

  Message Search

  Amen on search here too.  It would be nice to be able to find the specific messages when searching.  Even if it was as simple as highlighting all the terms that matched your search once you clicked into the topic
