  With the pricecut, anybody thinking of getting a PS3?

  hey guys, new to this but i bought one right before they dropped the price (got the $100 back from best buy anyway).  I also have a wii and the 360, and i must say since i bought the ps3, i haven't turned either on pretty much.  as far as using it as a computer, they make a special yellow dog linux that is specifically designed for use with the ps3.  i found it on a torrent site, but i believe yellow dog distributes it for free.  you get the option in the settings menu to install other OS so its nice that you dont have to replace the orig. ps3 XMB.  the only thing i was gonna install it for was because my desktop is about 8 years old or so...maybe 7.  the memory available in the ps3 is only 256kB?  maybe a little more?  it would only be really useful for surfing the web and using media (still is a little slow supposedly for those activities).  i decided to hook up my usb ext. harddrive for music and videos etc., works pretty well....
