It's far greater than just a "facebook newsfeed replacement". What Twitter did for microblogging, this app has the potential to do for "news feeds".

Social Networking the Google way.
BigNerd, their webcrawlers already know pretty much everything about you. Between the amount of information that Google and *insert social network of choice* have on you, you're owned by the net.
Just incase you've never seen it, watch that video.

A silly topic to explain your gif/avatar
My avatar is a photo of me, taken by the 10-second timer on my Camera. Low-resolution, really, but I think it's good enough.

"I pledge compliance, to the Mac, of the Apple corporation, and to the design which blows my mind, one company under Jobs, with premium pricing and OS X for all." This is fun.

Why I love my Mac let me count the ways.....
Virtualization is a huge deal. Parallels allows for breaking boundaries between OSes. You see, Microsoft's OS monopoly is held by the infinite loop of "If you want your applications, you have to use it, and since you use it, your applications will be written for it". Virtualization technology like VMware, Parallels, etc. breaks that loop by allowing you to run the software elsewhere. Not everyone's needs are as simple as an office suite.

OK clearing up a little bit of confusion here... Streamy is only like Tangler in the sense that communication between groups is encouraged. That's it. Past that Streamy is like a beefed up RSS-reader with lots of sharing features. Cool stuff, but tangler and Streamy are very different services.
