  The Jesus Myth

  'Equally that could be those who created the character of Jesus having him do the things he was meant to, to symbolically demonstrate to the reading audience that he was a legit messiah.'

  Jesus was the real deal!

  There are various Non-biblical sources for the Historicity Of Jesus. -

  • Cornelius Tacitus ( born AD 52-54) - "...Hence to suppress the rumour, he falsely charged with the guilt, and punished with the most exquisite tortures, the persons commonly called Christians,....Christus, the founder of that name, was put to death bu Pontius Pilate, procurator of Judea in the reign of Tiberius."
  •  Lucian of Samosata - A satirist Of the second century, who spoke scornfully of Christ; and referred to Jesus as   "...the man who was crucified in Palestine because he introduced this new cult to the world...Furthermore, their (christians) first lawgiver persuaded them that they were all brothers one of another after they have transgressed once for all by denying the Greek Gods and by worshiping the crucified Sophist himself..."
