  • Map creator - Official / Non-official out there for use?

So that means i can't use it? D=

Haven't got illustrator but i guess photoshop will have to do for now. (I used to have some geometric graph paper which would be perfect, but i need to buy some more.)

  • New/Pro Units

I think everyone would choose the hover-craft, which is more to my point that they need a slight edit in price.

The tanks are indeed weak. With basic units, i rarely ever break out a L.tank and always go in favour for saving up or buying something cheaper.

  • Game suddenly archived and over!!

I just had another turn-skipping game when i was about to take my turn, but it wasn't even in archive this time... =/ Ah well, looks like it will be fixed soon anyway!

  • A feature that is just begging for inclusion

    ^_^ Thanks

On another note, there are 2 types of units for all TBS games: The ones that have a "squad" and the ones that have a lone but "specific person" or whatever. (Think AW for "squad" and Fire Emblem for "specific person"). WeeWar is built in a squad manner in my opinion as it makes more sense when putting it along side the main components of damage taken, damage dealt, movement, terrain effects, etc. Also, squad units tend to have a larger map scale, while specific persons have a smaller area of play. Again, reference being AW and Fire Emblem. AW has mountains as 1 part of terrain, woods for another and whole cities as another; giving a scale of vast distance and area. Fire Emblem has sections like a tree for 1 part of terrain, or a wall stretched over severall spaces; giving a scale of something smaller like a village battle.

My point in all of that past post is to declare this: AW is not the same as WeeWar, but they are both similar in the main aspects and so unit-merging could work very well if implemented right. If WeeWar was similar to Fire Emblem, it would probably never work.

  • Colour choice of units

Ouch... Both the white and purple are horrible contrasting colours against the bases and eachother.

Excelent point Pistos, but i don't know what kind of coding or proceses need to be made in order to show team-bases over non-captured ones; especially as they can change quite a few times during battle. Probably not a lot but i don't know much about creating code >_x

  • Weewar Players Association

I was proud to play the 2nd rank seed moJoe and got talking to him a fair bit (plus i had a practice with pro units!) I haven't checked anything yet but hopefully he has given me a credit like i gave him.

  • Update August 28th

I know for a fact they had changed, i wish i screenshot it now Frown

I used the same laptop as usual, never adjusted any colour settings, all the other colours of red and blue on my 3-way map were normal, it was just the purple that was darker. And it was a vast improvement >_<
